You are all too numerous to mention individually, but you have our heartfelt thanks. We would like to especially thank the following people: Kum Sum, for volunteering her nursing expertise and time to came over on short notice to help us care for Dad when we needed extra assistance. Sau Ming, San Tosh and Sau Nang, Gook Len, Chiau Khoon, Yeng Phooi and Julia, Su Yin, Swee Choo, Shaw Mei, Kim Shah and Ah Eng who faithfully organized, prepared and/or delivered meals to us. Staff of Subang Jaya Medical Centre, for their excellent care and service during Dad’s clinic visits and hospital admissions. Hospis Malaysia (www.hospismalaysia.org), particularly Nurse Sharon and Dr Sylvia for their in-home medical visits that allowed Dad to spend his final weeks in the comfort and familiar surroundings of his own apartment as well as the loan of equipment necessary for Dad’s palliative care. Andrew and Hwee Chin, Yin Ling, Mr Khoo and Mr Chiang for providing us with additional medical equipment and advice. The Life Chapel, for use of their premises for the memorial service and funeral service, and Kok Joo for onsite assistance. Sai Weng, for his counsel and assistance on the myriad of practical details after Dad’s death. Simon Chen and NV Care Sdn. Bhd., for their excellent undertaking services. Benny, Yeng Phooi, Selveindran, Chong Wah, Ah Eng, Kok Keong, and everyone else who participated in the memorial and funeral services. Aunty Mary in Scotland, for her daily phone calls to encourage and advise us, and to surround her big brother Eric with love from afar.
